Expanded metalor expanded sheet is made by shearing and stretching a metal plate in a press. The shearing is carried out across the width of the sheet or the coil. Depending on the press and the thickness of the material the expanded metal could be delivered as a plate or roll.

Expanded metal is made from:

  • mild steel
  • pregalvanized steel
  • stainless steel
  • aluminium
  • bronze
  • cupper

Typical applications are:

  • Acoustic panels
  • Art Displays
  • Car grilles
  • Ceilings
  • Cladding
  • Concrete reinforcement
  • Garden Furniture
  • Insect Mesh
  • Machinery Guard
  • Roof access
  • Room Divider
  • Staircase
  • Walkway

Expanded sheet comes in different patterns and thickness:

  • diamond mesh
  • squire mesh
  • round mesh
  • hexagonal mesh

In recent years expanded metal is widely used in architecture and interior design, where aesthetic requirements on the product are significantly higher than in its industrial application.

Commercial size sheets are:

– 1000×2000 mm

– 1250×2500 mm

– 1500×3000 mm

and rolls with width x length:

– 1000 mm x 30 m

– 1250 mm x 30 m

On request wesupply cut to size sheets and coils:

– max. width: 1500 mm

– max. length: 30 m for rolls

– thickness (for sheets) of 0.3 mm to 7.0 mm

– thickness (coil): 0.3 mm to 1.2 mm
